Lunch time Day 3

What techies we are becoming! Here we sit in the Columbia Cafe, blogging, adding pictures and apps! If we heard it once, we heard it a hundred times today:"vertical teaming is essential". We are seeing how important it truly is for developing our student writers.--Lisa

  3. Vertical teaming is teachers of a variety of grade levels working together. For example: a verticle team could be a K, 1st, and second grade teacher planning together. We do this to insure that students get all the skills they need as they pass from one grade to the next. It also gives teachers an insight to where their students are coming from and where the will be headed.
